We took pride by the victory of experiments with Rockets, Satellites, and spaceships and overwhelmed with their success… now the turn has to face the dirty challenge of this “space dirt”.

Starting from the spare parts of rockets and the timed out satellites remains in space moving with great speed endangering Earth. With their speed and velocity they move can anytime collide to other satellites or may divert their orbit in which they rotate. So now all the astronauts and scientists are focusing on this dirty challenge.

Space Debris:

Now a days we can hear frequently about ”the Orbital Debris” ,..” space junk” , “space waste”,. Whatever we call a waste is a waste, and this waste is contaminating the universe.Even a small object can cause a great damage with its high speed. We cannot take them as low. If they are big in size the damage will big. We spend a good fortune of crores to experiment a satellite, and this junk may cause damage or divert the direction of the orbit. Ultimately ruining the very purpose that we expected from that .as a result it may not send the required information to earth or either it stops working.Another big problem is these may enter in to earth’s environment and may explode due to the friction causing damage to mankind and the whole atmosphere.Recently Tiyagagn-1 made us tremble on our feet.

There is an estimation of 17 crore space debris revolving in earths orbit ranging from 1-10cms to even big. The velocity of these wastes almost 28,000kms, it’s almost 23 times greater than sound speed. So they cause great destruction to satellites.

Its not that easy to sweep this dirt like we clean our house, Its not only a challenge but costs a fortune to get rid off them or to bring this to earth. So scientists planning to divert their way and destroy them there only using Laser Brooms, Solar sails, Space nets and Electrodynamic tethers. Hope these are work and save Earth and environment and life on earth.
