According to the requirements of the firm and leadership qualities of the candidate customer service, problem solving skills honesty etc,. can be estimated. AS the recruiter is not in direct face the stress will be less n the candidate. Will finish in less time compared to normal interviews. You may ask another time if you are not available at that time. You should take some precautions during the call like choose no noise place and no signal problem and should take of waiting call keep phone in charge. Should always speak in happy tone and confident. Should prepare yourself and make them believe that you are interested to work with the firm. Should avoid eating, while interview and watching tv. Should respect the interviewers Should keep important papers your resume pen and pad with you while interviewing.
