Once there is a time when we do our works in day light and slept in the dusk. That is natural life style on human in those olden days. Sun is the only source of light. People wake up with him and rest along with him. Those are the days when people and nature commingle and move. But now the meaning of night changed. There are more lights and dazzling in night than day. Night life became lengthy than day life. Even though we boast ourselves for this victory but eventually we have to pay heavy levy for this. As recognized by the medical experts, by the artificial lights brain is shaking and confusing to differentiate between day and night.<\/p>\n

One side the brain is in mayhem that which is working time and which is resting time. Another side expert recognized that the blue light in artificial light around us is creating some new implications. As we are spending more time before digital screens of mobile phones, computers, laptop, T.V. tablets leading to severe health problems. Including Harvard all institutions researchers stressing to take measures to avoid this problems.<\/p>\n

What is this blue light?<\/span><\/h2>\n

We cannot define light in a single word. It is a current of electromagnetic ions in the form of waves. If we analyse light, it is the mixture of gamma-rays, x-rays, ultra violet rays, and infrared rays and many more which we cannot see. In light spectrum we can see colours, red, orange, yellow, green, blue etc, as in rainbow. The blue colour is more powerful than other colours. It releases great energy so the effect of this colour is more on us. The blue light is present in sunlight also. This blue light in sun stimulates our emotions, senses, and alertness improving the feelings, which is a good thing. The blue light releases from cell phones, T.V. Computers; electronic notebooks are lesser in quantity THAN IN SUN LIGHT. But the time we are spending before these screens is longer hence the danger. But we cannot imagine our life without these electronic devices. So only the worry of blue light is increasing world wide.<\/p>\n

Our life starts between the screens<\/span><\/h3>\n

Right from early morning we start to check mobiles and from there our full day will before the digital screens. Like this every day we see any digital screen from very near slowly leading to health disorders. Scientists recognise more cases of eye diseases and sleeplessness increasing day by day by this spending long duration before digital screens.<\/p>\n

Do you know about 60% of population spends 6 hrs daily before digital screens<\/span><\/h3>\n

A youngster spends 10-12 hrs with these screens. About 70% of people using digital devices are suffering with these eye symptoms.<\/p>\n

What are the health problems with digital screens?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Blue light is about 25% in digital screens. Exposed to this blue light for long causes dangers to eyes, and body also. It estimated that eye diseases have been increased by 12% from the decade.<\/p>\n

Problems occurs are:<\/span><\/h3>\n

  1. Retina layer will be damaged.<\/li>\n
  2. If exposed to bright light generally eye sight will become less for one second, but later it gains its normal state. But if eye exposed to the blue light for long it not gets normal rapidly.<\/li>\n
  3. Dryness in eyes and become dazed.<\/li>\n
  4. Cataract.<\/li>\n
  5. Macular degeneration means middle sight damage.<\/li>\n
  6. Head ach<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Sleeplessness<\/li>\n
    2. Memory perturb<\/li>\n
    3. Lack of concentration<\/li>\n
    4. Back lag in study<\/li>\n
    5. Hormones that control hunger get upset lading to irregular food habits and diabetes, obesity.<\/li>\n
    6. Depression<\/li>\n
    7. Obesity<\/li>\n
    8. Sugar etc. will attack.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Don\u2019t float in blue revolution.<\/span><\/h3>\n

      Have to curb: – spending time with T.V., computers mobile phones should curb, especially in nights 1 hr before going to bed.<\/p>\n

      And should blink eyes in the middle of seeing T.V., computers etc…<\/p>\n

      The sleep causing hormone Melatonin is effected by blue light leading the imbalance of circadian rhythm. Another hormone also gets affected blue light directly falls on retina layer in eye. As a result the retinal layer gets weak leading to sight problems. The retina lies in the back side of eye ball is very sensitive. It is not good to expose to the dangerous lights. The white carnial layer and the lence behind it restrict the ultra violet light. But they cannot restrict the blue light. So this blue light directly goes in to the eye and falls in retina damaging it. If it happens for long time the eye will lose its sight and total mechanism of sight will become tired. Eye sight will diminish which is called as digital eye strain. Now we use LED screen for more effective and bright screens, very effective blue light will release from this screen. And now a day these digital screens are using inn large scales. Which ultimately leading to strain the eyes. Nearly 70% of people who are using electronic devices are suffering from these symptoms.<\/p>\n

      The 20-20-20 Formula<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

      Research experts forcefully indicating a principle .at least take a pause while watching TV, computers etc,. electronic devices of about every 20 mints and for 20 sec and see the object at 20 feet distance.<\/p>\n

      Do you know about the night guards?<\/span><\/h3>\n

      There are filters which filter the blue light in many digital devices. New generation mobile phones have this night guards or night time settings or blue light filters. Different named options are there if you switch on that option the screen brightness will be reduced and turned to yellow tint. By this blue light will be reduced. T his option is good for eye and body.<\/p>\n

      If you don\u2019t have these options in your phone, there are many apps in play store just download and install them.<\/p>\n

      The LED light emits more blue light. It is better to use dim red light in night as they emit blue light less, says Harvard researchers.<\/p>\n

      Food to bear blue light<\/span><\/h3>\n
