Telangana Teachers Eligibility Test 2021 Requirements

Candidates who possess the below qualifications are eligible to apply for Telangana TET Notification 2021.

Qualifications for Primary Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage

• Contenders those who want to be a Primary Teacher should meet the either of the below criteria to apply for TS TET 2021 Notification.
• Candidates should have passed the Class XII or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks and at least 45% aggregate marks for SC/ OBC/ ST/ PHD Candidates)
• Candidates should have passed a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B El Ed)/ 2-year diploma in elementary education/ 2-year diploma in education (special education) or
• Candidates should have passed Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 45% aggregate marks and at least 40% aggregate marks for SC/ OBC/ ST/ PHD Candidates)
• Candidates should have passed a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B El Ed)/ 2-year diploma in elementary education/ 2-year diploma in education (special education)

It may be noted that this eligibility criterion is valid only for Candidates who have passed D.El.Ed/ D.Ed prior to the issue of TSTET 2021 notification.

Qualifications for Elementary School Teacher (Classes VI-VIII): Elementary Stage

Candidates those who want to be an Elementary Teacher should meet either of the following criteria to apply for Telangana State TET Notification 2021

• Candidates should have passed B.Com/ B.A/ B.Sc with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and a minimum of 45% aggregate marks for ST/ SC/ OBC/ PHD Candidates)
• Candidates should have passed Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed) course or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed Special Education) (or)
• Candidates should have passed B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (a minimum of 40% aggregate marks for ST/ SC/ OBC/ PHD Candidates)
• Candidates should have passed Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed) course or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed Special Education). It may be noted that this eligibility criterion is valid only for Candidates who have completed or were admitted to B.Ed course before the issue of TS TET Notification 2021 (or)
• Candidates should have passed a 4-year B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed course with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and a minimum of 45% aggregate marks for ST/ SC/ OBC/ PHD Candidates) (or)
• Candidates should have passed Graduation with Language concerned as one of the optional subjects/ Graduation in Literature/ Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent)/ Post Graduation with Language related to one of the optional subjects
• Candidates must also have a training certificate of Language Pandit or passed B.Ed with Language related to (Applicable for only language teachers) one of the methodologies
  Candidates attending the final year of B.Ed Exams/ Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)

Age Limit

• Candidates who are willing to apply for the Telangana TET Exam 2021 should meet the age criteria. The category wise age limit is as follows.
• For General Category Candidates: Minimum Age – 18 years and Maximum Age – 35 years
• For Reserved Category Candidates: Relaxation in Upper Age limit will apply according to terms and conditions
